Welcome to Baselios Poulose II Catholicose College, Piravom

         It is with immense pride and gratitude that I assume the office of Principal in charge of Baselios Poulose II Catholicose College, Piravom—an institution distinguished by its commitment to academic excellence, character formation and social responsibility. Named in honour of the late His Beatitude Baselios Poulose II Catholicose of the East, our college upholds a rich legacy of scholarship, service and value-based education.

        At Baselios Poulose II Catholicose College, we believe that education is far more than the acquisition of knowledge; it is a transformative journey that nurtures critical thinking, creativity, integrity and compassion.          Founded in 1995 by the Malankara Syrian Jacobite Christian Education Trust, a charitable educational initiative of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, Baselios Poulose II Catholicose College was established with the noble vision of providing quality higher education to the rural youth of the region. The institution is named after the late His Beatitude Baselios Poulose II, whose profound scholarship, social commitment and visionary leadership continue to inspire our educational mission.

       Permanently affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, the College offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including B.A. English, B.C.A., B.B.A., B.Sc. Electronics with Computer Technology, B.Com. and M.C.M. Over the years, the College has introduced several innovative academic and student development initiatives that have significantly enriched campus life and enhanced educational quality.

      Our institution takes pride in its remarkable achievements, including its recognition among the leading higher educational institutions through NAAC accreditation. These accomplishments reflect the collective efforts of our management, faculty, staff, students, alumni and stakeholders in pursuing excellence in teaching, learning, research and community engagement.
