The Department of English was started in 1995. The Department offers instruction to various common courses in BBA, BCA and BSc (Electronics). B.A English with Journalism programme was started in 2003. The Department has had the fortune of being guided by the former Principals Chev. Prof. Baby M. Varghese, Prof. K. M. Kuriakose, and Prof. Capt. A.P. Eldho and Dr. Shibu Simon particularly in the formative years. The BA Association conducts several activities to kindle the creative talents of the students. The Department offers BA English with Journalism programme and a two – year UGC aided diploma course in Communicative skills in English. Ms.Sindhu Thomas is the present Head Of the Department
